Blue Mountain Spring Water is sourced from a 100-metre deep borehole on the edge of the Ancient Charnwood Forest in partnership with The National Forest Company to create a wooded landscape for the nation across 200 square miles of central England.

The very name of the historic forest is associated with water.

Throughout history the area has been associated with water and subsequently fertility.

Our water originates from an ancient source. Exquisite spring water moderately mineralised which had gradually perculated through ancient precambrian rocks.

The source of our spring water is a protected with an excellent record of microbiological premium quality water as set up under the supervision of the leading European Consultant Microbiologist Michael Hurst.

Why water is so important?

Since the body continually loses water – 2.5 to 3 litres per day – through normal body functions, this water needs to be replaced to keep the body healthy. Ironically, the sensation of thirst occurs only after the body has started to become dehydrated. For this reason it is very important to drink water often, without waiting to feel thirsty. By the time you begin to feel thirsty, the body is already dehydrated to a level of 0.8% to 2% of body weight.
